David F. McNamar has been practicing law for over 50 years and has a proven track record of success. He is a graduate of Purdue University (Krannert School of Industrial Management) and the IU Mauer School of Law. He uses that experience to help you down a path to the results you need. Mr. McNamar is a former Marion Superior Court Criminal Court Commissioner, a former Special Judge and Judge Pro Tempore in the Marion Superior Courts. He served on the Board of Directors of the Indianapolis Bar Association and on the Marion County Public Defenders' Board. He was awarded a Life Time Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who. Mr. McNamar has lectured Health Facilities' law to the American Health Lawyers' Association and the American Health Care Association. He has lectured to groups of the Indiana Health Care Association and taught nursing home law at the nursing facility administrators' course at Ball State University.
Mr. McNamar is a retired U.S. Naval Officer having served in the Navy/Naval Reserves for over 30-years. He retired from Naval Service as a Captain (O-6), Judge Advocate General Corps, (JAG).
Mr. McNamar has served as a Board Member of the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Liabrary and served as President of this Board. He has been a member of the Country Club of Indianapolis and was elected to the Board of Directors there. He also served 2-terms as President. Has also been a member of the Columbia Club, and is a 50-year member of the Free & Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine. He is a life-member of the Purdue University Alumni Association, the John Purdue Club and the Indiana University Alumni Association.
